Our first product is Saltline, a coastal fishing decision-support app for iPhone and Android.

We bring useful information together, show where it came from, and leave the judgment with the person using it.

How we work

Notice before concluding. Start with what changed. Do not rush to certainty.
Show the source. Official information, research, named observation, community questions, and Saltline's own read are not the same thing.
Respect local knowledge. One coast is not every coast. Build slowly enough to get the water right.
Collect less. Ask for only what the product needs. Do not turn someone's fishing life into a data business.
Stay small enough to care. Each product should do a useful job without creating more noise.
