How can we help?

Email support@saltline.ai and we'll get back to you. Include your region and a short description of what you're seeing.

Please don't send sensitive information. We will never ask for your password, Apple ID credentials, payment card details, or other sensitive personal information — and you should never include them in an email to us.

Restoring your purchase

If you've already unlocked all regions and they appear locked again (for example, after getting a new phone):

  1. Open Saltline.
  2. Go to the unlock screen.
  3. Tap Restore Purchase.
  4. Make sure you are using the same Apple ID that made the purchase.
  5. Close and reopen the app.

Apple processes the restore — no charge is made. If regions still don't unlock, email us and we'll sort it out.

Basic troubleshooting

  • A reading looks off. Conditions come from public sources like NOAA and Open-Meteo and update in real time. Occasional gaps usually reflect the upstream source. If something looks consistently wrong, email us with the region and time — those reports genuinely help.
  • Data won't load. Check your connection, then close and reopen the app. Conditions data requires an internet connection to refresh.
  • The app is behaving oddly after an update. Restart your phone, and make sure you're on the latest version of Saltline in the App Store.

Frequently asked

  • Do I need an account? No. Saltline works with no sign-up.
  • Is my fishing data shared? No. Saltline has no catch maps, shared pins, or leaderboards — your spots stay private.
  • What does the purchase include? A one-time $9.99 purchase unlocks all supported regions outside the free Lowcountry tier. No subscription.

A note on safety

Saltline provides fishing condition information for planning only. It is not a navigation, marine safety, emergency, legal, or weather-warning service. Always check official marine forecasts, tide tables, local regulations, and current on-water conditions before heading out.

In distress on the water: call the U.S. Coast Guard on VHF Channel 16 or 911.
